Internships
The Invisible Press, LLC (āThe Pressā) offers high quality internships in differing areas of publishing for higher education students, recent graduates, as well as community members (with or without advanced education) looking to re-enter the workforce or brush up on their skills to transition into the publishing/writing field.Ā Opportunities include writing, video production, publicity, public relations, book design, editing, and computer/technical assisting among other projects. Internships must be aligned to the students’ major area of study. Students from Tulane University, including graduate students, have earned credit toward their degrees through a collaboration with their university via independent study credit overseen by Dr. Hazel Denhart. The Press also welcomes partnerships with other universities to facilitate academic credit when possible as part of cooperative education or work study courses. Interns are encouraged and supported in developing professional portfolios using their project work with The Press.
